Peets Recommendation
Been stuck in a rut, mainly 'cause I got 3 lb's of Maj. Dickason's for Christmas last year. Need some suggestions on something similar, but not the same.
Anyone? |
Try the Ethiopian Harrar from McLaughlin Coffee, in the dark roast section.

Espresso Forte or Garuda.

Local small batch roaster here in Seattle. Their darker roasts are just amazing. Try the Sumatra. You can order online. |

Friend of mine sent me a sample from them and another place - Espresso Vivace, good stuff. Just need to find something that's got a similar balance, Sumatran or Garuda sounds like it might work. Has the small, independant roaster thing been around for a while and I've just missed it? Or is this a relatively new thing? |
Intelligentsia Coffee.
Batches roasted to individual order. The Black Cat Espresso blend is heaven. Tim |

Icemaster, the 'small batch' roasters have been around for quite a while. Many got rolling in the early 90s when the coffee business took off. |
+1 on the Black Cat. I've never had such amazing coffee, and I roast my own. Seriously, it's over-the-top incredible stuff.

Thanks...
Thanks for the suggestions, results below. Still on the fence about what's my preference right now, leaning towards the Black Cat, my god is that good stuff.
Also picked up a lb of Berkley Blend as well, havent tried it yet though. Thanks much for the tips! We get face to face, the next round of black stuff is on me. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1162736660.jpg |
