me in DC
Proof positive:
<img alt="meWH.jpg" src="http://nostatic.com/blog/meWH.jpg" width="444" height="333" /> Many thanks to Rick for the pickup and ride to Dulles (what a stupid airport). Glad we didn't get pulled over ;) And the festive dinner conversation with Jim and Dave. No pictures though, as the restuarant refused to allow us to photograph their menus. |
How's the knee?
|
Todd's knee must've been in great shape. He managed to outrun the Secret Service guys after he threw water balloons over that fence.
j/k :D |
that wasn't water in the balloons...
Knee is almost completely healed from a wound perspective, but I don't have full range of motion yet. Still hurts from time to time, and I have a limp sometimes. Foot wound is taking longer to heal, but I've been in shoes now for a week, long pants for 3 days. Almost back to normal. And just to be clear, Rick was at dinner too. And we got to hang at the bar while the slackers drove in from DC. Sorry I had to stick to my one drink limit (sipping a shot of Sauza Commemorativo), but it was good I did as we had some fun turbulence over the Rockies :p |
See any politicians? Heckle anyone? Did you yell, "Boss, da plane, da plane!" just for kicks?
|
no, but just walking around DC I could feel the ethics getting sucked right out of me.
|
Yeah, you do sound a little down, Todd. I hear DC's a depressing town. Just like L.A.
|
They put that extra chicken-wire up to keep nuts like you out.
Good thing you werent waiving a gun and threatening GW. Photochop anyone? http://nostatic.com/blog/meWH.jpg |
