Seriously considered it. After thinking about the pros and cons decided to stay home and watch it on TV.

Yes, you will have 1,000 jealous Pelicans there with you in spirit. If you haven't been to Rio, try to get there for just one day. Its worth it.

I thought about going, but a race at Buttonwillow overrulled.... you're going to witness history. Enjoy every minute!

thanks, motion. it's on my car too.

unfortunately we won't make it to rio. we are certified f1 crazy and are only going to be in brazil for the three days of the race! it will be my fourth race (italy '97, '98, france '04) and the second one with my wife.

france '04 was awesome. magny-cours, while in the middle of nowhere, was a really beautiful track. interlagos probably won't be as pretty.

wow! thats a fantastic viewpoint! Montreal certainly doesn't have any vantage points like that.
