917 Replica....
Sadly who ever built it had a pretty weird understanding of proportions, or maybe the moulds got hot and warped during the build?

a bit off looking, but not that bad, and sounds like it's got some interesting engineering, turbo, based on 914, turbo brakes. It might go like mad. It's probably fun to drive, but it's not my thing.

I think that is one of the old "Laser 917" kits of old....
|
i'd drive it......2 turbos always translates to much fun :D

It might be, but if it is, then it's been modified quite a bit. Similar "off" proportions on the sides, but this one is better than the other laser pics that I've seen.

To be honest the red version looks ok but it doesn't really look that much like a 917, it just looks like some kind of sixties era road goiing race car, which is no bad thing. Once you paint it in gulf colours and try and alter it to look like the Porsche it starts looking a bit silly.
I'm not going to argue with the mechanical spec though it should be a riot to drive. |
I think its pretty ugly. Might as well get a fiero ferrari ;)
