North Korea: U.N. resolution a 'declaration of war'

Read for yerself.... Cannot reason with the insane. Then again, given our track record as of late with regards to diplomacy, or lack there of...

Special OPS team anyone??

+1. Other than some popcorn-fart nukes w/ no capability to deliver them, (to us), does he have any other ability to attack other countries at this time? Just kill the sick bastard and say "next". His replacement can't be worse, but if he is, just rinse and repeat until we get one we like. Or at least one that will play ball.

That is what we should have done in Iraq, (if anything), just sent cruise missiles to all of his 100 palaces simultaneously. Even if you miss, (unlikely), it will have him vacuuming out his shorts and re-evaluating the wisdom of flipping off the shoe-wearing half of the world. JMHO of course. :)

And our troops are home or on ships where they stay alive.

No.

The Chinese will handle this issue, if and when it becomes necessary. Rhetoric is worthless, particularly if you're a pissant society.

A newly-militarized and nuclear Japan would be a bad thing for all in a global recession. There's so much they will take.

I thought countries were supposed to mind their own business, not interfering with another country's sovereignty. Or are the Chinese an exception?

I speak for America and Americans because I'm culturally an American who lives here. The question was what should Americans allow the US government to do, and the answer I gave was "nothing".

I do not speak for the Chinese nor the Koreans, they'll do what they'll do.

Are you gaining any understanding, now?

Rearden 10-17-2006 08:58 AM

No, I'm not understanding your logic. I thought you've been telling us that if one country leaves another country alone, then we'll have peace.

Of course there's no money in it for Haliburton & Co. that way. That's why it won't happen.

Lil Kim reminds me of an image a buddy once gave me.

An ant, floating down the river on a leaf, lying on its back with an erection screaming:

"RAISE THE DRAWBRIDGE!! RAISE THE DRAWBRIDGE!!"

Indeed, and as of today it appears that China has trimmed the sails of the little man a whole bunch.

Based on the history of America, that is correct. There hasn't been a single threat to America since the British burned Washington.

How's that, Seahawk?

Weak...has NK threatened China? By your past logic, militaries are for self defense ONLY.

How can China, "trim sails" when NK is not a threat?

How's that Patrick?

Oh, btw, ICBM's are not a threat?

"I speak for America and Americans"
You sure don't speak for me! Why don't you try just speaking for yourself for a change, or are you afraid you will realize no one cares?
Steve
