The tease across the street...

Every day I pass by this guy - Performance By Paul - and although he does not work on Porsche's, I still find it hard not to stare at the works of art that grace his shop.

Chrysler 300 from the 50's

3d effect in the dash - definitely the rocket age!

Shelby GT500

How many cars built today will the middle aged want to collect 40-50 years from now?

The middle aged man will be dead 40-50 years from now, and his kids will be scratching their head trying to figure out the old man's fascination with clunky p.o.s. cars from a century ago that aren't worth much and require illegal gasoline to drive.

They'll also be participating in the class action lawsuit against the heirs of Messrs Barrett and Jackson for fraud, perpetrating a pyramid scheme, etc.

My favorite was always the Chrysler 300C, '57 if I remember correctly. I'd almost kill for one.

Agreed....and shame on the punks here who slam these Mopars....known as a "businessman's express" in the days before muscle cars arrived, they were the perfect fast & comfortable machines for the uncrowded interstates of the day.
IMO, much better performance iron than the luxobarges offered by Ford and GM at the same time. (edit) I don't think Mercedes made anything that would have kept up with a Chrysler 300 either...
