Wayne, where's the new Political/Religious Forum?

The negative energy on OT is getting to be unbearable.

Please, please, please start the new forum soon. You said you would, but some of us are getting a little impatient waiting for the big day.

Scoot

Then we will have two forums to make folks anxious.

I don't see the need, but then again, that's only my humble opinion.

It's Wayne's call, but the recent poll suggested that the majority didn't want to split OT.

Wayne DID say in another thread that he was splitting it up. I am not asking him to do it, I am asking WHEN his is going to do it.

- Add the turbocharging / supercharging forum as requested
- Separate 964/993 into their own forum
- Separate 996/Boxster/Cayman/997 into their own forum
- Separate the OT forum into regular and Politcal/Religion discussion

I don't see the need to split OT. But then I don't see the need for more than one 911 tech forum. Please don't do it, it will kill the synergy.

Please read the above posts. I am not seeking opinions, as there is no question of whether to do it or not (that was hashed out weeks ago). I am only questioning when.

With all due respect, why do people feel they can't regulate themselves? Why do they feel they need someone else to do it for them?

It's real simple........just don't click! It's not complicated, you don't need someone to do it for you......you really don't.......

edit: Wayne, it's your gig, your choice, as it should be. If you choose to, it's your servers, I respect any decision you make here, either way. This is to others, as ultimately I feel we should be able to regulate ourselves.

The non-political OT forum will be about as interesting as a jar of mayonaise and have three thin-skinned Republicans on it comparing pictures of their lawnmowers.

Why would you even visit this forum if you keep "accidentally" reading negative political threads? For that matter, just for giggles, WTF would a positive political thread look like right now? It's not exactly Reagan's "Springtime in America" right now. More like "Springtime for Hitler".

Whatever. I've already regulated myself off of most threads here because the state of the world is just too damn depressing. My solution is to live in my own world, a hedonistic existence where I pretend that it's 1967 and I am a naked hippie in California getting blown by the hot daughters of rich Republicans. But of course the hooker's father might not have even been a registered voter. At any rate, I digress. Really digress. Figure out what makes you happy in these dark days of our history and hang on to it with all the tennacity you can muster. Pretend that Republican rule has been a success, if that's what it takes. Your very happiness is at stake here, nothing less. God bless.

Exactly!

Kinda like your wife accusing you of making her fat from buying sweets for the house. B*tch - no ones shoving it down your throat.

Yeah, maybe a "truth in naming" rule for an OT post. 99% of the time you can figure it out anyway.. Don't like the subjust matter - then don't open it.

THe other end of the argument could be if you do not like this OT, why do you keep coming back? I accept it as it is, warts and all. Wayne, I know this is NOT a democracy, but why cave in to a very small but vocal minority?
