I just watched Jay on a show with a Donahue (forget his first name, but he is the son of Mark?) trying to break some speed record in the Carrera GT.
Jay, while an avid collector, lost some points from me for continually calling his car a "PORSH"......... He did spin the GT at 190mph though ![]() -Chris

Quite an eclectic collection; looks like a lot of fun. It'd be a car nut's dream to even WORK in garage like that, let alone own it.
The steamers are very cool.

He's got some pretty amazing euro stuff, from moggies to bugattis! I especially like the fact that he restores cars (or has them restored) instead of just buying them. He seems to be very interested in the process of restoration, instead of just the final product.

I saw that monster polished silver hot rod at California speedway a few years ago. that's the car with the engine from a WW II tank.
You have no idea hust how big that car is until you see it in person. Gotta be 24 feet long. The transmission is out of a greyhound bus IIRC. I was amazed at how big the tires were, they came up above my waste and I aint short. |
