Camp Falcon cover up

On tuesday Oct. 10, there were major explosions of ammunitions from mortar attack at Camp Falcon near Baghdad, where the 4th infantry division is located.
This has been almost not reported in the news, and no word of casualties. I have found a list of 300 US military victims. I suspect that this major attack has been covered up in the US media in view of the coming elections. Below are the links:

The list of victims is in this link:

Has anyone else heard of this?

No, I have not heard of this list, nor the 300 on it.

I'm not sure everyone on that list was a victim of that paticular attack.

I think the US military releases such data, but typically a month or more after the event so that all the next of kin have been contacted.

Keep an eye on this one, could be an explosive story.

No kidding, based on other events the Pentagon has lied about (Tilman, Jessica......etc.) expect the truth to eventually leak out.

I reported on the Camp Falcon attack and subsequent disappearance in a thread some time ago. The video URL I listed is no longer good, but this one might suffice, or a google search.

The casualty lists are next to impossible to get, the military, while not exactly covering up the Camp Falcon debacle, has been extremely quiet about it. All or most of the video has come from Freedom Fighter resources, since they like to record their biggest successes against those invading and destroying their country.

In re: Insurgent attacks on Forward Base Falcon on 10-11 October, 2006

Official Casualty List from U.S. military hospital at al-Habbaniyah located some 70km west of Baghdad. U.S. medical personnel at al-Habbaniyah initially stated that the US military hospital at the massive American-occupied air base there had begun to receive dead and wounded personnel. The military hospital in al-Habbaniyah, the largest in occupied Iraq, was opened on 12 May this year in response to sharply rising (and redacted) US casualties.

List compiled and effective as of 11 Oct 06 at 2300.

My `Intel` was not about the event itself. Pat already covererd that . My questions are about the casuallty list, which seems huge. And since the 4th infantry division was there, and the lists contents has lots of 4th ID in it, this gives it credence. Now, maybe this list has casualties from other events in it. I don`t know. This is why I ask.

I think those pictures are not from the same camp Falcon we are talking about. AFAIK, there is no sea near Baghdad. And you can read AIR HAITI on one of the hangars in your second picture. Try again.

Your same site also claims that over 15,000 Americans have been killed in Iraq, not just over 3,000. I'll bet you believe that too. So do you think GW will have clones made in area 51 from alien body parts to replace these "missing" dead troops so that no one will ever realize that 5 times as many have died as have been reported?

From what I've read before, if an injured soldier is airlifted to Germany for intensive care and dies or dies in-route, his death is not included in the official death count. Also not counted are deaths by accident or non-battle, which is much higher than most civilians, would think. I've even read that if an injured soldier makes it out of the field hospital but dies in another hospital in Iraq his/her death is not counted. Also not counted in the death toll are the mercenaries, which are the second largest force in Iraq, far out numbering the Brits.

God only knows what the real total death count is. Trust me, it's much larger than the official version.

EDIT:
From 2004.................................

At least 18 000 mercenaries, many of them tasked to protect US troops and personnel, are now believed to be in Iraq, some of them earning $1,000 (about R6,300) a day. But their companies rarely acknowledge their losses unless - like the four American murdered and mutilated in Fallujah three weeks ago - their deaths are already public knowledge.

The presence of such large numbers of mercenaries, first publicised in The Independent two weeks ago, was bound to lead to further casualties.

But although many of the heavily armed Western security men are working for the US Department of Defence - and most of them are former Special Forces soldiers - they are not listed as serving military personnel. Their losses can therefore be hidden from public view.

The US authorities in Iraq, however, are aware that more Western mercenaries lost their lives in the past week than occupation soldiers over the past 14 days

This has been almost not reported in the news, and no word of casualties. I have found a list of 300 US military victims. I suspect that this major attack has been covered up in the US media in view of the coming elections. Below are the links:

The list of victims is in this link:

Has anyone else heard of this?

Aurel, I simply cannot imagine using a source http://www.rumormillnews.com/
that openly states that some of its material “stranger than fiction” and “usually true” and that: “Rumor Mill News stories are presented as entertainment only! Yep, got to love that up-to-the minute news from April 2004. Cut and pasted at just the right time makes it seem like it was posted yesterday and actually has some bearing on the current situation. Even the Photographer that took the photo has been dead for over two years...apparent killed by a group of your "modern minutemen."

You're correct. Apparently they recycled the name from another military action.

We can try this, though:

On October 10, 2006, at approximately 10:40 p.m., a 82mm mortar round, fired by militia forces from a residential area in Abu T-Shir, caused a fire at an Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) at FOB Falcon. The ASP, containing tank and artillery rounds, in addition to smaller caliber ammunition, set off a series of large explosions. About 100 troops from the 4th Infantry Division were reported to be stationed at the base at the time, but no injuries were reported.
