USGP Tickets

sweet, got my tickets, stand J section 01. Now all I have to do is wait 8 months!

I'm trying to decide which race to go to next year. I don't think I can do Indy in July. But if the boy goes with me, I don't think a 13 hour flight will work. Probably do Canadian GP. If he doesn't, I'm thinking Malaysia or Australia depending on finances (ie if my engine lasts another season)...

The USGP date for next year has been moved a couple of weeks earlier for 07. It will be on June 17.

B- how did you get your ticket so early? During the Brazil race, there was a commercial indicating the tickets wouldn't be available until November?

Anyhow, how about getting a bunch of Pelicans committed to buying tickets and buying a block of tickets? Just a thought. I've been trying to go for a few years, but timing has been bad.

At some point in early september I either saw something or just went to the USGP ticket site, at that time they were in the renewal period, so if you had bought tickets before you could renew or request new tickets. So I put in my requests (they let you pick 4 different areas of the track) and about a week ago I went back to the site and they had assigned me my seats.

Looking at the site now, it seems like you can apply for race tickets... might be worth trying...

I'm definitly up for a pelican get together at Indy!
