Hard Days was Directed by Richard Lester in 1964 at the peak of Beatle mania....it is totally funny and literate, as much of Lesters work was.

Lester later did, A Funny Thing Happen on the way to the Forum and the Three Musketeers and Four Musketeers in the early 70s with an all star cast...
Alll these movies are well worth watching...
