VW guys - color choice:
I should have my 1956 Karmann Ghia ready for paint in a week or so. I'm torn between going with the original color (Trout Blue) or Pelican Red/Toucan Black, which is also a correct color for first-year ghias.

I need to know how the interior works? Is the dash red now? What color would it be with the blue? Depending on the interior, the trout blue/black roof sounds cool. How about with a combo matching blue dash, and black trim inside? Oh snap- that would look like "oh my damn" good!

+1 on the black 'n' blue.
|
The trout blue with the whitewalls looks really classy. I'd stick w/ 1 color.
|
The red/black looks toyish, the blue is stunning and classy. No contest.
|
Trout blue, for sure.
The "resale red/black" is way too ordinary. That trout blue car with the sidewalls is unique and beautiful. And has the added benefit of being the original color, too. |
Trout Blue looks very nice.
very classy |
Am I the only one that likes the red/black? Classic two-tone combination on a classic Ghia.
|
nah, do an airbrush mural to make it look like a P-51 Mustang.
|
Starting to become collectables... original color.

I would stick with the original colour. Look very elegant. Just my opinion.

Can a girl vote? LOL
Blue My opinion, no black top. |
I too, vote for the blue.
And if the lady wants no top, I think we'd all support her. Les |
what kinda spinners are you putting on it ??
chrome, gold or platinum?? i'de take blue with chrome spinners but red with black top for gold spinners i'de go for a two tone blue/red if you install the platinum spinners with the 30 inch plasma screen and the Xbox 360, with the waterfall expresso machine and toaster oven in the dash. |
