You shouldn't eat that crap it will kill you.

I just got Atlantic Avenue today, but, in my defense this is the first McD I have had in 4 months.

I pulled in there today and my body repulsed. I got out of line and left when I thought of the food.

I am running out of places to eat lunch altogether. I know this seems like an obvious statement, but all fast food sucks now, more than ever. To the point that it grosses me out. And I'm a fat out of shape bastard that you would think loves the stuff.

A couple buddies of mine were talking about how they like the BK triples the other day and I almost lost my cookies at the thought. If I go there I get a single and try to mask the burger with lettuce, mayo, etc... the idea of biting into a two inch thick hunk of ultra-low-grade beef gives me this shivers.
Then I realize that between BK & McD's , BK has much better burgers and I don't think I'll ever eat another QPC again. That my friends is a lesser-of-two evils proposition!

Quiznos has some good subs and they tend to be fast, but you must get out of your car to get it. MY wife turned me on to their wraps and they are pretty good.

In a pinch, I get Wendy's grilled chicken sandwich (It has honey mustard and not mayo) and a diet coke, no fries.

Never had Quiznos, but there is one a few miles away. I do have a Wendy's across the street, but I think their quality is going as well. The spicy chicken sandwich is OK, but never seems real fresh......that's disheartening

BTW, you're right about having to get out of the car being a killer. I've been eating my lunch in my truck for 15 years now and it's just a habit.

Try a vending machine. ( Ok, I work for a large vending company, Canteen Services, so my opinion may be unfair.)

Do you have vending machines in your shop? If so, talk to your routeperson about getting you healthier items. They are available 'cause we have really increased the amount we offer.

If not, try a Wendy's salad.

BTW-I positively hate McDonald's. I know they have gotten better over the years but I just can't handle the "greasy" feeling after eating them. Blech!!

I'm an out of shape, fat bastard because I love the stuff.

Really, it's just conveniently close to my shop.

All that aside, I know I'm fat and I can actually feel myself becoming more lethargic. And I guess it's bad when you break a sweat walking to the 'fridge. It's time to do something about it.

Just as soon as I finish these fries....

i'm not saying it's never tasty to eat at mickyD's or any other fastfood joint

but frankly i can't stand it more then once every 2 months ( and i mean in general, combined , not 1 mcD's 1BK's etc etc )

similar for takaway pizza or chinese food
fine for the occasional lazy moment
but any other time i'll either go to a full restaurant , or cook myself

and since resto's in Holland in general suck donkeyd1ck , i prett much cook for myself 99% of the time...it helps that i used to work for a big chef, and i'm creative at finding quick and dirty ways to come up with new fast and healthy combinations...

One thing we here in Tucson will never run out of is good eateries. Seems to be the most popular pastime. Yeah.......Mexican, but Thai, French, Italian, German, you name it. Hardly ever eat at the same place twice in a given two month period. Once in a while we do have a Quizno's roast beef as a treat. Far better than the other sub shop offerings.

Can't remember the last time I was in a Mickey D's.
