Big weekend for Rossi and Hayden
I hope that little troll Pedrosa keeps out of trouble and doesn't spoil what will surely be an epic battle for the championship. As much as I'd like to root for the American I really don't think he deserves it this year. Vale all the way, BABY!!!

If Hayden hadn't been falling off the last half of the season, he wouldn't be in this ditch in the first place. Go Rossi.

Well, he was leading by 12 points before Pedrosa took him out with his bonehead move. And he'd probably be up several more if Rossi had been properly penalized for passing under a yellow flag on Phillip Island. Of course, the reason he was so far ahead of Rossi was Rossi getting 1 point out of three races, which wasn't his fault. Go Nicky!

I think Hayden and Pedrosa could have beat Rossi in Portugal. If Elias could beat Rossi then Hayden would surely have been able to. Pedrosa literaly robbed Hayden of his first championship.

Rossi on pole! Hayden back in 5th, albeit only .3 seconds back. Edwards too far back to help Rossi. Pedrosa alongside Hayden in 6th. Should be good

Bayliss qualifies P2. Very impressive to come up to speed that quickly on the Duc.

If Pedrosa doesn't play the good teammate it will work against his own future. The kid is fast, no doubt but lets hope he stays out of the way. A win for him is meaningless here. Let Nicky and Val go head to head. GO NICKY!!!

Nicky - Put Pedrosa in your rearview mirror where he can't take you out again!!!!

Nicky should put Pedrosa in Vale's rearview mirror (if GP bikes had them), where DP can put the fear of another takedown into Rossi's mind.

I'd like to see Nicky take the win and the championship, but I think Vale is going to take advantage of the pole and try break the field early.
Capirossi has been riding pretty well and it may be difficult for Hayden to make his way around, then reel in Rossi. Will be interesting to see what Bayliss does since he's only filling in for the last race. Will he stay in the mix or drop back to keep out of the way? |
