I suppose it was only a matter of time...

Hello Marc,

I have discussed about your vehicle with my client before he made a business trip out of the country. I'm delighted to tell you that my client has recommended your vehicle with full interest and he has instructed me to carry on with this transaction. My Client is from Canada, and can't wait to see the vehicle parked in his garage.
However, my client made out a certified cashiers check of ($20,000) before he traveled to London on an official assignment.
The amount on the check he deposited for the vehicle is for the total expenses which include the purchase of your vehicle, tax, the pick-up of the vehicle from its present location and the shipping charges /other necessary shipping arrangements.
However he has instructed us to carry on with this transaction, so you're required to deduct the cost of your vehicle ($12,600) and send the balance of ($7,400) to my pick-up agent via money gram/ Western union transfer to enable him offset shipping arrangements. Once the transaction is concluded and the check clears your bank, my fore man will be coming for the pick-up of the vehicle from its present location, on an open vehicle and then Drive to a pre-paid shipper for shipment, and also conclude other necessary shipping arrangements; so you don't have to bother yourself about the pick up and shipping arrangements, while title papers and Other necessary documents will be sent by you via any courier service to my customer.
Please confirm the above explicit information and provide me with Legal Name, Address and Phone number for check payment to be delivered to you via the fastest courier service.
Thanks and have a great day!
Russel

NB: Consider your vehicle sold to my client. I look forward doing business with you.

Below is my client's information that will be in the Title:

"Please confirm the above explicit information and provide me with Legal Name, Address and Phone number for check payment to be delivered to you via the fastest courier service."

This is another giveaway...use of Fedex or another service to avoid postal fraud charges...

Please be advised Mr Drago that an associate of mine will deliver to U in person a check for $7400 to cover any shipping expenses. Should your clients check fail to clear the bank my associate is not only instructed to not give U the check for $7400 but is to terminate our business arrangement.

Here we go again...

Greetings Marc,

Thanks for the email. My client is very much interested in buying your vehicle. I have discussed with him and he has agreed that he will be willing to have the vehicle shipped to Canada upon reaching an agreement with you.

Please Sir,
I have Some Questions to Ask:

1) Is the engine in perfect condition?

2) How often do you service the car?

3) How many miles on the car now?

4) Are you the owners?

5) If yes, for how long did you use car?

6) Has the car been involve in an auto accident?

7) Any mechanical problems with the car?

8) Why are you selling the car?

Finally At what price are you willing to sell this Vehicle to Us and also send recent (interior and engine)if available……

I look forward to hear you as soon as possible regarding the above questions.

Best regards,
Bill

The guy calls himself Bill but his email comes up as Daniel Lowell. His email address is salblin_6@yahoo.com.

Not quite as creative as:

"Gen. Robert Vandenberg
Canadain General Supervisor on
International oil and gas industry
" :)

but at least the grammar and use of the English language is better. ;)

Have him send a check and see what happens.

Brilliant Advice:rolleyes:

Drago-
Just ignore the scammer...you dont want to open a can of worms "and see what happens..." only bad can result for you by not allowing the sleeping dog to lie undisturbed...

Well i do not suspect that Drago will be foolish enough to listen to me.

But in case he is, I am the pick-up agent for the good Canadian General. You must sign over the title of your car to me along with $500 cash :) That and some beers and your other car too.

Does it go 165 mph?
