Oh SHNAP!

That's just a dear little turbo... what is it, a Ko3?

artplumber 11-05-2006 06:17 AM

Hmmm, trying to come up with the sequence of (mechanical) events.

The neuological events to decide to add and use the nitrous = no brainer.

Porsche-O-Phile 11-05-2006 07:14 AM

What's the hot side look like?

bell 11-05-2006 08:13 AM

i could see the trouble shooting thread now........"why won't my car boost ?" :D

meltdown......i'd love to see the rest of the engine :D

svandamme 11-05-2006 08:29 AM

so , how many secs till everything mechanical turned ugly?

SlowToady 11-05-2006 08:30 AM

...that should buff right out?

Probably fun while it lasted:-D

pmajka 11-05-2006 09:30 AM

can you say..."slag"

legion 11-05-2006 09:32 AM

I'd like a little more background. Where did you find that?

beepbeep 11-05-2006 10:06 AM

That looks more like compressor housing from burned-out car. Nitro might damage turbo mechanically but won't melt everything like on pic.

With other words, I suspect pic is bogus, probably just a piece taken off burned-out car.

sammyg2 11-05-2006 12:02 PM

Sure looks like the result of an engine fire to me.

I was thinking the same, but I wanted to hear the story first.
