'V for Vendetta" - Great day to watch this!
Thanks to Isabo and a couple of the contributors to the Guy Fawkes thread for bring this up...
This is a very interesting movie and WELL worth a watch. The 5th of November is the perfect time to watch it. Part of the plot rooted in British history and highlighting several of the topics that seem near and dear to some of the OT posters hearts if nothing else. Natalie Portman is cute too! Seriously, if you haven't seen it - watch it. If you have seen it I would be interested in hearing your comments on the movie and the concept. " People should not be afraid of their Government, Governments should be afraid of their people." Enjoy! |
I enjoyed the comic - graphic novel if you will and the movie as well. I thought it came across as a period piece that had been updated very well, especially as I felt it was more appropriate to today than to the time it was originally conceived.
As an aside Isa wouldn't appreciate being thought of as a guy. |

Great flick that speaks well to the times that we are in.
