Directv Customer Service. Smart?
I signed up for Directv and was eligible for a $100 rebate for HD if I signed up between a certain time period. After tying to redeem my rebate on line I was rejected . . I did not qualify. So I contacted Customer service. Below is the response. All the dates are accurate.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thank you for contacting DIRECTV. In researching we have found that your account was created on 10/25/2006. For you to qualify for this promotion your account had to have been created between 10/03/2006 & 02/05/2007. If this date is incorrect please contact customer care at 1-800-531-5000. If any updates are made on your account please contact us by email. However, if the date is still shown as 10/25/2006 on your account we apologize we are unable to process your rebate request. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you again for your interest in DIRECTV. Have a good day! Sincerely, Kylee J Customer Care - - - - - - - - - - - - - ![]()

I tried to get the DVR deal (current customer) from them and they would not negotiate. So I cancelled this week and when they asked why I gave that as one of the reasons.
They offered it to me for free. Told them, to late. See ya. Scott
