Is it possible to download audio from Youtube onto an iPod?
That would be sweet.

I don't think you can directly download files from youtube.
But any audio file (wav, ogg, mp3, etc....) that you can actually get your hands on can be downloaded. |
Yes, you can...if you're using Safari (Mac browser) go to the Tools (?) menu, and open the "Activity" window. In the Activity window find the item that's largest--usually a few megabytes, it may still be downloading--and double-click on it. It will jump into the "Downloads" window and you'll end up with a no-name file of some sort in your standard target folder (probably your desktop).
Dump this into iSquint to smash it into an MP4 for an iPod Video. Or you can use any number of applications to rip the audio stream out of it. Here is another method: http://keepvid.com/ |

I have a simple workaround for playing Liberated Mp3s on the shuffle...and you can ditch Itunes. No, i didnt make it. Shuffle v1 tested, but i dont have a shuffle v2 |
