A friend just came by in his new Ferrari 599 GTB !!!
I am devastated. In total awe. There are only two Ferrari 599 GTB in Sweden. My friend bought one of them. Came by tonight (dark here, so sorry no pics).
In my 40 years of sports car addiction, I have never, ever experienced an engine sound like this. Not even close. I just jumped out of my sneakers when he revved it. Scared me half to death. So loud. So brutal. So heavenly beautiful. I hate to admit it but the boxer six is totally out of this engine´s league. V12 in big parts directly from the Enzo. 620 something bhp. A design to die for. This is the most thrilling sports car experience I have ever had. Did I mention the sound of that high revving V12.....

That is the most beautiful Ferrari to have been built in a long time - and one of the finest cars ever.
I think it is worth mortgaging the house for.

My house doesn´t even come close to the price of that car. Ridiculous how a car can cost more than a house. Rika, I would be sure to tell him that - if it wasn´t for the fact that he is driving it down to his villa outside of Nice in France tomorrow. He will have it parked there for the occasions when he fly down to relax a few times a year...  But I am resting assured that he is not a bit more happy than I am.

Amazing that a lof of Ferrari fanboys are hatin' on the styling. I think its gorgeous! Then again, I think a 612 Scaglietti is beautiful.

two totally different league's with the supra and the 599. MMM fiorno!
the, I do see the similarites, but try to picture the new C6 vette to the 599 and see what is similiar. Especially the headlights.

the wheel gap on 599 (and the 430) is just ridiculous... unless that thing is slammed it looks like 4x4 version !
The sound is exstatic though... the F40 remains the icon !
