Who knows about motorcycle rentals?

I have a trip to Vegas coming up in January and want to take a few extra days to go to LA before heading to Vegas. Hope to meet some Pelicanheads there. I really want to rent a BMW 1150 or 1200GS and ride from LA, through Death Valley and drop it off in Vegas. Eagle Rider doesn't have any Bimmers availble for drop-off in Vegas. Anyone have any ideers?

Rick, Rick, Rick.......

Even Los Angeles and Las Vegas have a winter. It might be as cold as mid 50's here then. Yes, I know. It's a joke.

No specific ideas about where to rent. If you get really pushed, let me know. I might be able to come up with something.

I know there is a new BMW Motorrad dealer in Vegas, close to the airport.

http://www.bmwoflasvegas.com/

They in fact rent Beemers.

I realize they are located at the end of your trip, maybe they deliver or can send it to a dealer in the LA area. Cash is king!!!

.
'Don't know about Beemers, but I've heard that they rent more/different bikes than they list...no direct experience, however. Maybe they can steer you to a Beemer rental.

How cold will it be? When I bought my bike last weekend and rode it from NJ to VA the ambient tempt. was in the 40's. I was bundled up well and not cold for a second.

Rick,

Gore Tex is your friend. Get it and stay dry and warm.
