Any Hunters? Find Deer hanging out in my yard every day.

Shot the picture through my dining room window. Pretty much a daily experience as I live is some moderately wooded land.

You have two too many, should be no more than one in that photo. Where do you live, a local Pelican should have a low cost hunting license.

There are actually 4 bucks in this herd. I've had a few offers of bow hunters to come the property since you can't use firearms in my location. If you could, I guess I could sit at my dining room table, crack open the window, and empty my 226. .

What state is that? My relatives live in Northern Jersey, and they also have that same problem everyday. I say send up a few redneck pelicans and there will not be an overpopulation anymore!

Take up archery yourself. They look healthy, and venison is very low fat meat. Very tasty if cooked correctly, too.

You have way too many deer. A management program needs to be put into place.

matt up north the deer are much larger, though they have smaller racks. In Texas, and the other southern states the deer's have very large racks, but not a lot of meet. One of the many concessions the southern states made after the Civil War.

yeah I know. Two of them look to be the same age though. One is clearly genetically superior. South Texas WT, just for the heck of it.

I have almost hit deer countless times coming down my long driveway. It keeps the repair business here very busy.

We also have wild turkeys wandering through to add to our wild life. Haven't seen any bears.......yet.

It's not mine. It was taken by a friend a couple years back. I'm trying to find out the specs. Let me see what I can dig up.

For the 2002-2003 Los Cazadores contest it was measured with a spread of 31 2/8 inches and scored 200 3/8 points. In the Texas Big Game awards it is currently 2nd all time for a typical buck with a score of 188 7/8. I guess it depends on who measures and with what scale.

O'RLY? Look 3/4 way down in this article. http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/outdoors/stories/102206dnspodeertrinkets.2c443e3.html

No picture in the article, but trust me....The picture is not altered.

Here's the contest picture 2nd place deer. http://www.loscazadores.com/contest_archives/2002/D2/places.html

Your yard is like a buffet!

If a gaggle of gravy buckets streams by your window, you'll know God is getting impatient with you.

There's room for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes.
