"Building Stonehenge"

Friend of mine sent me the link to this video on YouTube today. Apparently this guy got bored and thought it might be fun to build his own Stonehenge in his backyard.

Pretty cool how he moves these massive objects --without any mechanical tools.

Interesting. My question is, how does he get the little rocks underneath the stone in the first place? Once the rocks are there it works pretty well, but he had to get some space underneath the stone to place the little rocks at some point didn't he?

It looked to me like the long cross arm could have been used to tip one side down, raising the other side for the pebble to be slid under.

Just a guess.
