Privacy film for windows

FIOS TV finally became available in my area and they hooked me up Thursday.

They installed an HD DVR so now the wife wants a bigger TV.

Goin to pick up a 62 inch for the living room.

I've kind of resisted because the living room window is visible from a busy road and anyone passing by will be able to see it at night.

This is where the paranoia sets in. I don't want to advertise that it's in the house. I'm not as much concerned about someone trying to walk out of the house with something that large as I am about making the statement that we probably have other smaller expensive more portable stuff in the house.

So it occured to me, can I put one way security film on the window?

I can see out but they can't see in.

Anyone have any experience with or advice to offer?

Thanks,

Scott

Oh yeah, looking at either Samsung 62 1080p or Mitsubishi 62 1080p.

Any thoughts on them is welcome also.

Is this Verizon's product?

AT&T's HomeZone is now available to anyone that it is within the current DSL footprint. HZ is a blend of AT&T High Speed Internet and DISH.

AT&T's U-Verse product which is AT&T's Video product (removes DISH from the equation), will start becoming available in more markets next month where the Fiber is already installed.

If anyone wants more info about AT&T products, PM me.

Used it on my house windows at one time or another. Curtains is a better bet in the long run as you can still see a bit of what is inside if you really want. Do both and make sure...

Have Verticals up but I don't like closing them completely. I like the open feeling.

I don't expect anyone to come strolling up to the window and stare in, I just want to be less obvious.

Vin,

I'm ALL Verizon now.

Home phone, broadband and now TV.
It's so nice kowing the Dolans' (cablevision) no longer hold a monopoly.

Maybe they will actually improve their service and pricing and treat their customers with some respect.

Scott
