For my own uses, I'd buy an Apple used. I saw a two-year-old laptop going for $250.

The only difference is they now run Windows natively. A byproduct of switching chip vendors. Why the switch? One driving factor, MSFT paid Motorola a boat load of money to develop a Power PC chip for the xBox 360 which delayed development of Apples next chip. If you know anything about Jobs he was not going to be held hostage. You are aware that a 360 is nothing more than a suped up Mac G5 running a custom winNT kernal? Scott |
