I got the same kind of e-mail to be the a sales rep for a russian company and make $3500-4000 a month sending a few packages for them. The e-mail ended with the same request for personal information. It obviously is a scam, but I don`t know how it works. Maybe they send you a check after a month of `working for them`, you cash it and it becomes the good old nigerian scam?

Aurel,
Its not a scam, its downright theft. They steal someone's credit card number and buy things with it. They then send the stolen items to your house and you forward them to another address, usually in another country. They pay each "forwarder" just a bit to do their dirty work until they are busted. This way when the police finally get to your house, its an innocent person forwarding stolen items on to another unknowing person and so on. Seen it happen for the last couple of years, especially in the bigger cities. Joe |

The Kyoto/Osaka area is called Kansai. Tokyo is in the Kinki area.
"Linda chueng" doesn't sound very Japanese to me. You could forward this email to the Japanese crimes division for their records, they are very thorough almost to a fault and don't tolerate this kind of stuff. |
