doink!

well..what would he be doing in full costume and driving a Volvo station wagon? Probably a celeb look alike.. is my guess but who knows?

Look a like most probably; heading to Hollywood Blvd. around where the Kodak Theater is, or if not, a holiday party.

The real pirate lives in Southern France; he has nothing to do with the U.S., except a paycheck. ;)

Johnny is a Porsche guy, he had an early '90s C4 cab in black when he lived in the neighborhood back in the day. Actually, he still has his house in Hollywood, same one for ~15 years, but he is not here much unless he's working.

Was your Captain Jack driving an old white 240 wagon by any chance?

Strange. I later saw him walking through the dairy isle at the supermarket. Seems he was loading up on American cheese and sour cream. No one hardly noticed him, sans for that pirate costume that he still was wearing.:D

I think Johnny is aware enough of his image that he would NEVER be in costume picking up perishables. And as dd74 says, he don't live here.

I was thumbing through a People magizine the other day. I don't think he dresses that much differently than his character. They were comparing him to MrT.

that happened to me with robin williams in SF some years ago. we were driving from my uncles wedding to the reception. he pulled up next to us a a light, i looked over at him and my jaw dropped. he did a "RW" sort of face scruntch smile and waved at me as i was trying to alert the other occupants of my car but no sound would come out. he raced away from the green light before i could get news of the sighting out of my mouth. the driver of my car tried to catch him but he was gone, and quick.

never seen a VW vanagon move so quick. maybe he had done the 3.2 implant?

I would have to say no
He has people that take his make up/wigs/eyelashes off for him. It's not easy to take off and uncomfortable to wear, so he wouldn't leave the set with it on. The studio would be very reluctent to let him leave the set with his wardrobe and why the heck would he want to?
Plus I'm pretty sure he's on location shoot right now

One late Sunday afternoon when I was a mere lad, Mother, Daddy and I were at a stoplight on Wilshire Blvd just east of Rodeo Dr in BH, when a powder blue 57..4 door Chevy Belair pulls up on the left. In the right rear was Elizabeth Talyor and in the front right was her then husband Eddie Fisher. We smiled, they smiled and we all went on our way.

I was behind Maureen Stapleton in line at the Super Market in Lenox, MA one sunday morning. She was in a nighty and slippers with a coat on over. Weird. Lots of celebs live in Lenox/Stockbridge area of Massachusetts.

He wrapped a week ago Friday on P3. The shooting company finishes principal photography this coming Friday.
