Maui in January - where to stay? ...
. .. under 200$/night.
Any gems out there? |
|
My wife and I just got back yesterday--we stayed at The Mahana...don't know what we paid--she made the reservations. Here's the site--looks like if you can eek out an add'l $21 bucks a night, you're in a studio. Beautiful views--100% ocean view.

BTW--we were in room 908.
 :D :p |
As long as it's after the first week in January (peak season)!
Ka'anapali Shores and The Whaler (also in Ka'anapli) are both nice, and you should be able to find a 1BR/1BA for around $200-ish, but $225-$250 is probably more realistic (HI tax is kinda high too). The Maui Sands is probably one of the least expensive places, if you want to stay in West Maui. If you are just looking for the cheapest place to stay in Maui period, then check out Kihei. (oh, and glad to see you back in the OT zoo!) :D SmileWavy |
Hey Eric, thanks. ...thanks gassy.
I've vacationed on Kauai, Hawaii & Oahu. It appears that Maui is the biggest foo-foo-resorty island. (?) ..and yeah, it's looking like 300/night is more realistic. What about Molokai? I'm thinking about island hoping. |
