Such nonsense, none are true, but it is sad to think some of you think they are.

We did not have corporal punishment in 1973. I was a teacher then. We strove to stop fights and yes, both of them usually got expelled, if need be.

"Middle School Counselor calls Planned Parenthood, who notifies the ACLU. " complete drivel.

We had corporal punishment in phily in 1973. Ask me how i know.

What is sad is what YOU liberals have done to this once great nation.

You have reduced us to a bunch of politically correct, weak kneed, overweight, drug prescribed socialist morons.

I oft times have jokingly 'wished' a meteor would hit and wipe out 90% of all human life, knowing full well that the 10% who lived to repopulate the world would be die-hard gun toting/hunter/conservative types. :)

Without your artificial contrsucts you liberals fall flat on your faces in short order. :)

I got the paddle from the principal back in the early 70s. It had holes in it for enhanced speed.

Were those holes "cross drilled"

I was in grade school from '83 - '89. Our principal had a canoe paddle in his office.

I don't know for a fact that anyone ever got paddled, but we sure believed that we would.

True Story:

Senior in a Catholic HS, 1976. I am a bit of a rebel without a clue.
I push the schools dress code, "forgetting" to shave. First time, Sister Alice Joseph is stern but forgiving. Second pass, AJ is pissed.
Third time, AJ walks me down to the mens room, follows me in and produces a can of Nair. I apply as directed...I ran the math in my head: Nair or a call to my Dad, a great guy but prone to support the man (nun). If she calls my Mom, I'm doomed.
I still correspond with AJ. She cared, stood her ground and made her point.
Penguins;)

I was expelled for decking a nun but she hit me first. The school association contacted me on the scrounge a couple of years ago. I hope the ***** penguins are burning in their hell.
That aside I envy some of the things kids have today but overall I'm happier I grew up when I did. If I ever have grandchildren I hope they can still enjoy some of the things I did without being branded outcasts from society.
