Which Radio/CD Player For Office?

Moved into new office. Real nice place, nice view, etc. Problem is will be spending lots of time here - evenings, weekends, etc. So want to bring in a radio/CD player.

Which one?

If money was no object I'd just buy a Bose AcoustiWave AM/FM/CD/MP3 and be done with it. But $500 seems silly.

On the other hand, don't want a tacky ghetto blaster thing either, with the silver spray paint over cheap plastic and "superMegaULTRA B A S S" stickers.

Something reasonably classy and understated, good quality, not criminally priced.

Any suggestions? Cambridge? KOSS? Any older models I could pick up on eBay?

Bose sucks, seriously. Take one apart sometime and you'll see

Good set of speakers for your PC and get Sat. Radio online. No commercials and you pick what kind of music you want to listen too.

I listened to Howard this morning and have New Country on right now. I might switch to 80's Alternative later.

Bang & Olufsen and some speakers that hang on the walls.

Find them for 1/2 price on Ebay and enjoy.

The look great and sound very nice.

John,

I agree with Jim, get a good 5.1 speaker system for your PC. Not only will this let you listen to the on-line radio but you can watch Le Mans DVD. :D

Best,
Grady

PETER
Milton? Uh, could you turn that down just a little bit?

MILTON
Uh, they said I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from
nine to eleven while I'm collating….

PETER
But, no, no, no. I know you're allowed to, I was just thinking, like a
personal favor, y'know?

MILTON
I, I told Bill that if Sandra's going to listen to her headphones while
she' working, I can listen to the radio while I'm collating -

PETER
Ok.

MILTON
So I don't see why -

PETER
Ok.

MILTON
The radio, I can't -
