Omega Seamaster Professional
I have the Omega Seamaster Professional and the "Screw Down Crown" won't screw down anymore. I unscrewed it to set the date a few days ago, and now the crown wont screw down.
Anybody ever have this problem? Is it a known problem? Any ideas other than sending it to Omega? Do you think a watchsmith could fix it? Thanks in advance!!! -Wade ![]()

Probably needs a new stem. Take it to Omega. A watchmaker- if you actually have one you can count on- could likely get the parts and do the job. In the meatime, be aware its its not waterproof.

Nice watch. Here's mine:
http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=msg&goto=1447155&rid=23144#msg_1447155 It is not a known product defect in that model. It's just something that happens from time to time with all screw down watches. Take it in to an Omega dealer if it's under warranty. If not, try any watch repair shop. Omegas are reasonably easy to have fixed.
