Don't you have to email them to yourself, or something like that?
I'd be interested to find out the process as well. ![]()

I use Motorola's "Phone Tools" program, combined with a V3-to-USB cable. Makes address book updates and back-up's easier too.

I go from my phone to my palm via bluetooth and then from my palm to my pc via 802.11. Or email from phone. Or phone tools.
I found "BVRP Mobile Phone Tools v1.23" on-line somewhere as a free download. Installed it. Then, found v2.16 and installed it. Then used the "live update" function to update to v3.25b - which works with the Razor. Google the versions I reference above (v1.23 & v2.16) and see if they're still available. If they are, download and install in order. If not, you can always just buy v3.xx. Good luck. - Skip

Ahh.... Motorola has nice software for downloading pics, adding tings tones, etc, etc... You have to pay for it, as it does not come with the phone.

with phone tools, you can edit songs to make your own ringtones too, its pretty sweet and really beats spending $3 a pop for them

If it's the model I'm thinking of the easiest would be to send the individual images to your e-mail address as an mms from the phone. I don't think that model has bluetooth.

I use phonetools and a mini USB cable. Backing up the phonebook is sweet since I've had to replace the phone and didn't have to re-enter the entire phone list. Also, as stated earlier, I have edited songs to make ringtones and used pics for caller ID's. Well worth the money to buy the software. You can find a USB-Mini USB cable at office supply places like Staples.

That is the best tool for most newer phones especially if you have Verizon.

On my Razr it is under the pictures menu - down a bit toward the bottom under "move" Then it asks you if you want to turn the bluetooth on. Say yes and send.
I think they put it way down so you will take the first menu item and send it in an email over the network - likely to make them money. |
