Photo manipulation software advice
I think there are some people here who may be able to give advise on this.
I'm not terribly happy with Photoshop 4, which I have been using for quite some time. My only "needs" are to resize and crop. However, I do amuse myself by applying NASCAR graphics to Porsches now and again. Should I stick with P'shop? Should I try Paintshop Pro, Corel, or something else? Why? |
Google's Picassa is good. Also, check out the Gimp. Both free, the Gimp is Free as well.

I was thinking about the same thing today at lunch, thanks for starting the thread!!

Agree on Picasa2. Free and easy to use. If you want to go advanced upgrade to Photoshop CS2.

Gimp. Open source sw rocks.

Are you using a Mac or a PC. If Mac P-Shop CS2. If PC ..there is always Microsoft paint........PS 4 is a good program but rather dated. I have found P shop and PC's don't quite work together like it does with a Mac.
|
I'm running a PC with XP-Pro.
I've been using P'shop 4 for so long simply because it was given to me for free when a friend upgraded to something else. But now it's just being a pain in the arse. I'll read up on Gimp and Picassa. |
