I actually saw that car in Baton Rouge when it first came out. I didnt even know what it was at first, I just saw an orange Ford Gt going down the interstate without the roof on it. I was like "What the Fuch?" Then about a month later I read about it in Top Gear the magaizine. Pretty interesting machine.

I recently got to see a "standard" Ford GT up close for the first time. Got to poke around the engine compartment as well. And friends, that thing is absolutely sex on wheels. The fit and finish of every part is outstanding. The styling is sublime. Compared to the Ford GT, the CGT looks like a wet turd.

Whenever I'm driving around Dearborn in the 911 and one of the FordGTs drive by, the drivers always give me a little friendly wave (no the middle finger) as they roar off past me. I used to drive my 911 over to Rousch at lunch time to look at the cars in the lot, but they put up a gate and closed the lot to curoius bystanders. We had a DeThomaso Pantera in the Ford WHQ lobby for a few weeks, that got alot of looks!!!

I enjoy his banter and bitterness towards Porsche, but watching Clarkson's 'Mad Tyte Drifter Skilz' is painful.

![]() Actually, I think that was a brilliant marketing move on his part and he gets all sorts of publicity because of it. Reminds me of when a Chicago paper hired a new big name sports writer. First thing the guy does is bash Ditka and Jordan. More publicity than you can shake a stick at. ![]()

The 928 is one of Clarkson's all time favorite rides. I can hardly blame him.
