Zbignew Brzezinski
When I was a young man attending the University of ahhh....it was by the Beach....I do remember that....I had a class on Soviet Foreign Policy. It was a small class of 15 or so and we had the good fortune of having Zbignew as a guest speaker. This was several years before he became NS advisor to Carter. The one thing U can be assured of was his absolute distrust and dislike for the Soviets. He would not have given them 1 inch. But being a Pole one can see why.
Of all the pundits, advisors and authoritys, it seems that Zbignew makes the most sense. Look for him to be Secratary of State if the Dems come to office in 2008. The only thing standing in the way maybe his health.

Any man who distrusts the Russians is OK in my book.

I've seen him up close a few times recently. He ain't gonna be able to serve in any administration after 2008. He is no spring chicken. He's in good shape and looks like a Marine. But he's old.
