Is it just me or does the quote from his neighbor strike you odd?

“In the summertime, being a woman, he would say ‘hi’ and I’d look back after he walked by,” said Amy Bolduc, 39.

That means she thought he was hot.

Poor chap.

Quote:
Libman was a professional bodybuilder, who twice beat cancer...

Libman was first diagnosed with cancer in 1992; doctors were confident the cancer was gone after two surgeries. In 1998, Libman's urologist identified a second cancerous tumor in Libman's remaining testicle. A different form of cancer, it was completely unrelated to the first one. Libman's oncologist at the time likened the chances of that happening to being struck by lightening twice.
Imagine - beating cancer twice, and dying this way.

Its sad to say it, but with all of the "toys" I have in the garage and two young children, when selling a newer car, I prefer to take a small hit on the $$ front by trading it in rather than have a bunch of random strangers come to my house.

Of course, you could agree to meet the interested parties at a location other than your house.

I saw this story on the news last night, very sad.

Oh yeah I got that. I'm just saying that I find this to be a strange thing to put into a story about someones death. To tell a friend that is one thing but to publish it in the newspaper just seemed very odd.

They were talking about this guy's amazing physique...and they threw in the complimentary quote from the chick to illustrate the effect that he had on people. I dont find that unusual at all.

Its just supportive data that is thrown in to add some human interest to the story. Otherwise its just a guy with a bullet in his head over his Porsche.
