I think its a trick-shot, meaning that the balls are set up in a different way than normal to enable them to do that. Just a hunch.

A once in a million shot and just by coincidence, there happens to be a video camera perfectly placed to view the entire thing.

Color me skeptical.

Yeah...but then tell me how you set up the rack to do it...if it's a trick shot, it's one HELL of a trick shot....not done by any of the trick shot exhibition specialists out there, and I'm sure they'd be doing it if they could. After mulling it over, I tend to think an accidental set-up rack. All the balls aligned "just right"....

woooaaaaahhh..

Nice shot - looked like he helped the 4 ball with his left hand. Prolly the angle

pwd72s 12-18-2006 12:10 PM

looked to me that the hand was up & away before the ball got there...angle looked straight into the pocket as well. Anybody else? (edit) wish I could slo-mo this video...

pretty cool. nice post. never seen that one before. for really spectacular shots, you've got to see a couple of good players play billiards. simply amazing how you watch a shot develop for over 5 seconds. seems like an eternity and fun to watch.

this is what i'm talking about...
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=705847923000325796&q=billiard+shot s&hl=en

billiards rule is you get a point, and continue shooting, when a minimum of 3 cushion 'hits' are completed before there is contact w/ the 2nd of the two balls. table is approx, snooker-sized. i guess this is what you play when 9-ball (blindfolded) starts to bore you ;)
