Well, if any of the animation-houses are looking for a Mac software developer with intimate knowledge of wireless protocols and application development, then I would pack up tomorrow without a second thought.

Write up a resume and send it out. Meanwhile, watch all the cartoons you can from every company - 'cause if they call you in for an interview, they're going to ask you about them.

"Honey, why are you sitting on the couch all day watching cartoons?"

"I'm doing research for an interview."

"Did you eat all of the frozen burritos? Why are there twinkie wrappers everywhere? What's that smell? Why are your eyes so red?"

"Um..........research..........yeah......"

That's how I got into it. Whole afternoons watching Batman, Tiny Toons, Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries, Animaniacs and Pinky and The Brain. Learning the characters, their motivation, timing episodes, timing gags, then writing scripts.

Paid off in spades. ;)
