That does look intriguing. Especially a 'real' as opposed to cartoon Transformers movie, not what I expected to see.

I'm just waiting for the hype to build so I can unload my Transformers on eBay...

It seems a little early to have such a large preview. It’s not out until July…I figured they would put out a teaser first. Like someone looking into the camera with a totally amazed look on their face while the “transforming” sound plays in the background, then a good long look at the Autobot emblem, then the date. You know build it up for awhile.

True but I would imagine that this will be played at every movie house over the Christmas break - normally one of the busiest times of the year for movies. This thing will be played out big time.

I think they missed the boat, they should have opened it up this November and had all the merchandize ready for Christmas with limited supply in order to creat serious hype. Include a few games for the Wii or PS3 and a $300 robot and life for Hasbro (or who ever) gets real interesting again. IMHO that is...

Agreed. Although the fact that Speilburg put up the money for it (and therefore has at least some creative control, eg Poltergeist , The Goonies , etc), gives me some hope.

I hope it is better than the "Thunderbirds" movie. There was a certain charm with the original marionette series.

Anyone ever see the later series "TerraHawks"? It has a talking Rolls Royce in ot called "Hudson" with an attitude. The name is an acronym that I cannot recall.
