We Are Marshall...2 thumbs up
We Are Marshall the film, portrays the aftermath of the 1970 plane crash that killed most of the Marshall University football team, coaching staff and several fans.
Growing up in this area and Marshall being one of the teams we rooted for along with UK (Univ. Of Kentucky) I felt some kind of connective spirit with this movie. When I was a boy my dad worked for the local newspaper and we went out to the plane crash site the next morning. I will never forget it. It was devastating to the whole tri-state area. Much of the film was made right here in downtown Huntington. I just got back from viewing it and you won't be dissappointed to see this film.

One of my favourite clients is McG, the director. Have been in Huntington on and off a lot for the last year. One of my cousins is married to the Athletic Director at Marshall as well.
It IS a powerful film, and am glad the story has ben told. |

Thats neat fingpilot. Im glad it has been told too. Are you from this area or did your cousin move here? I lived in So. Cal. for 25 years and wanted a change.

She married her college sweetheart. I had never been to Huntington prior to the location scouting trip there almost 2 years ago.
