Where Can I Get A Cheap Laptop Tomorrow?

I want a new cheap laptop. Where can I get one tomorrow in the huge sales. Walmart? I don't mind waking up early but I want one for dirt cheap as all I need it for is simple stuff. Or should I wait for Microsoft Vista to come out?

I bought one recently from the "HP Store"....$693 after sales tax and it included a printer.....512 ram....80 Gig HD....CD/DVD/RW....2.60 something.....serial port, 2 usb ports. 15.4 inch screen, battery life rated at 5.5 hrs, built in wireless card......Couldn't be happier...

I wouldn't get a Vista machine....It will require more grunt and the price will stay up there....I think those shipping with the end of the run XP will go cheaply....

Cheap and Vista not in same sentence. Best Buy has some under 700.

I'd say just get the cheapest one that can do what you need it to do. Laptops break often enough I don't feel comfortable getting a expensive one.

My current Sony is 7 years old and faster than any of my other brand new desktops somehow. I know that tells me to buy another Sony but I want to experiment with super cheap laptops.

BestBuy or Circuit City if you want one immediately. I'd order a Dell if you want a laptop in 4 or 5 days...
