Note: Do not ride in BBII if you get motion sick!

:D :D ;) :p

Poor Chris (84porsche). He enthusiastically went for a ride in BBII last month at Willow Springs on the big track...

He made it a couple of laps before he....decided...he...wasn't...feeling...so ...good...

Chris, you earned it, buddy. Enjoy!:D

He's a good sport about it though (as always) and a great friend, which is why I'm ribbing him over it.

I can't believe it. A thread all about me. I am honored. To ride in BBII with Jack is the thrill of a lifetime. The onboard videos that Jack has don't even come close to describing the experience. It's truly gut-wrenching. :D

I donŽt blame you. I get motion sickness from just watching the videos. Any videos involving moving objects.

I need to cut down on coffee and snuff..

svandamme 01-02-2007 05:46 AM

Note to self: must get some onboard footage of me,my944,and the rally roads in my home town for Livi...

mooohahahahahah mooooahahahaHHAHAHA MOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH......

isn't it dangerous to stop on the track like that?

I'd be horrified at the thought of someone smashing behind me.

inside of a long, slow turn, Jack probably had both his wheels wel in the dirt... i'm sure it was safer then a windshield full of barf

:D

Jack was my instructor last year at Willow, the speed he carries through turn 2 and 8 was breathtaking, and it was understeering that day.
Awesome car and driver.

I rode in the car next. I am glad Chris made it out the door. I was not looking forward to a squishy/smelly ride around Willow! I'm sure motion was glad Chris borrowed the open face helmet as well :)

In return IŽll send you some in-toilet footage of me.. :D

Icemaster 01-03-2007 06:06 AM

That aint nothin, at least he did it on the track. You shoulda seen the back seat of my Outback Wagon at the bottom of the Dragon last August after pulling over 4 times for my 5 and 2 year old.

KevinP73 01-03-2007 07:07 AM

Chris you have ny sympathies brotha. I rode with Tyson in Scruffy on Mullhulland and came close to losing it myself. When we finally stopped honestly it took two minutes before I could get my legs back under me to stand up. I didn't lose my cookies but came closer to it than I ever have in my life.

Who is this "Jack" everyone is talking about? He has not posted on Pelican in a long time. Maybe he is penning his next masterpiece. Great guy.......

David
