Romantic Northern California Beaches
Well, we're thinking of 070707 as the date to get married on. (for no particular reason) cept that the date is one that I could not forget
![]() Also,we have to be in Portland the next weekend for my Brothers sons wedding. So one of the ideas is to find a beach in n. calif and do it there ...right on the beach.(get married). Any suggestions from the N. Calif. Pelicans Whats the most romantic beach you know in N. Calif. Thanks

Go to the Central Coast instead of NoCal. Better weather and less wierdness. Cambria and Carmel come to mind.

The little rive in Mendocino is nice.
http://www.littleriverinn.com/ SVR pca does an annual trip there. I've had a lot of fun there for two day trips. Not much else to see after that. Good restraunts in area, great eggs benedict on site. Best bet beyond this is Carmel/Monterey http://highlandsinn.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp

Most of northern California coast is rocky althought there are bits of beach scatered about.
I have dabled a little in N. Cal and Oregon however it has been a while. I mostly hang out in the central coast Morro bay, Cayucous, Cambria. IIRC Gold Beach in Oregon is nice and so was Coos bay. Gold Beach OCVA

Lover's Point in Pacific Grove (Monterey area). Nice beach, nice park area. Lots of hotels and B7B's in the area.

Thanks for the congrats !!! It's the second time for both of us, so we're looking for the memories, not the fanfair of a big wedding.actually it will be just the two of us , the kids, both hers and mine will stay home.
Anyway,You guys are plethora of knowledge, thanks. And now we have some great ideas to consider ,please kep em comming . I remember Morro Bay and it is a great location . can we get to Portland in 2 days? I did suggest 2 weeks 2 wheels 2 up to Europe since I have a few beemers parked next to the SC in the garage, BUT she said that sounded too much like a vacation AAAGGah !! can you believe it ??..oh well. Oh yeah, how do I let her know you guys gave me the suggestions for locations. Thanks again Kramer h
