Sugar Bowl

Anyone else watching the game on Fox right now?

LSU was looking to go ahead to an early win, but Notre Dame fought back before half. Should be a good one.

Geaux Tigers!

The call reversal was just - I hated it but it was just.

the one about the fumble lube? It was a correct call. I agreed with the announcers that the interception was an interception not a incomplete pass.

2 Hollidays = 1 Johnson, LSU is a study in contrasts.

At 14 to 34...not sure I can take much more of this. Of course, I left during the 3rd Q of the Texas game last year and regret'd it.

It's about time to ban Notre Dame from BCS Bowl games.

Man, is there a team in the nation that has been so consistently overrated, year in and year out?

When was the last time ND actually won a bowl game???

Granted, some years they are tougher than others, FB plyers only allowed to play till they are Sr.s, can play another years but have to prove acceptance into grad school.

Still, its ND! I've been to a bunch of different schools, ND is like no other. The spirit and pride is amazing.

I must've missed the part where spirit and pride are included in the mysterious BCS calculations!

I think the announcer said this was ND's 9th bowl loss in a row. Or maybe he meant they'd lost 9, this made it 10? Not sure.

I would like to agree, but the computers rank them very high as well and they are not biased. I have a computer program I use and they are ranked 9th and that program is 100% strength of schedule and results.

There is a lot of anti ND bias out there that skews their public perception. And no.....I'm not a ND fan and I think Brady Quinn is a tool.

Don't ban them!!! I would miss out on a yearly entertaining evening around the holidays of them getting there a*s's handed to them. I think I hate them almost as much as you hate the Steelers.

Wow, loved the game. I love anyone playing against ND.

On another note, JaMarcus Russel is one strong QB. Howie and Terry said he throws the ball 85 yrds standing, 60yrds on his knees, and 40 yards sitting down.

Last night he threw on pass for 48 yards off his back leg, leaning back.

Can he read Pro defenses? The "drafted in the first day" question. The Steelers drafted Omar Jacobs. Big 6'5", Strong arm, all the tools. Didn't even make the cut. Sometimes the sum of the parts isn't enough.

Man, LSU looked awesome last night, again. Hard to believe they have two losses! Those two teams must have been even more awesomer.

First time I saw LSU play this year, impressive offense. The QB has a great arm but he the pick in the endzone was ugly. Who knows if he can make it in the nfl, I cant wait to see him try!

Did you see him stand next to Bradshaw? The guy is a monster!

I was at that game... while I wouldn't say they shut us down they are a very strong team with great speed.

Interesting time around here, my dad went to ND, and his two sons both went to LSU...

Is it OK to loath in front of the person who put you through college?
