Simple program for bulk faxing?

I have a potential customer base of a few hundred folks that I would like to send bi-weekly infomation via fax. Is there a simple program to maintain a contact list and scan a page or two to send to them all? I have a USB modem and a free line I could dedicate to the task. Send only.

Thanks in advance guys.

I can set you up a linux box to do it no problem... drop me a PM with your number and we can talk.

BTW - last fax server I setup is supporting an insurance angency with 30 employees, sends/recieves about 45k faxes per year.

Sounds a little extreme for my needs, but thanks. Maybe I need to go that route, but can't I just run this from my desktop rather than dedicate a machine?

My ignorance leads me to believe this should be simple X2

You could run from your desktop, but... it is not likely that your USB modem is a fax modem, and Windows really lacks the simple scripting you'll want/need to loop thru a set of numbers to dial and send a fax to. If they can be sent at night, setting up a bootable CD or dual boot your computer to do it may work, but you could end up needed a true hardware modem in your computer ($50 or so).

To make it work, you'll have a text file with all your phone numbers in it. Call the program, point it to your phone list and to the document you want to send and you are done.

It is a fax modem.

FWIW, my HP all in one claims to do this, but it always errors out 5 numbers in

Can you post the model number, make, etc. ? I'll see if a Real OS supports the modem, doing a quick dual boot setup or bootable CD setup (or even a virtual machine with vmware) may be the quick/easy thing to do...

Len...have these potential customers contacted you already or are you "fishing"? We get all kinds of fax spam at the office and I personally throw it straight to the trash without even looking at it.

Might be worth reviewing the FCC rules about fax advertising.

Sure,

It's a Creative Blaster V.92 usb Modem. Model # DE5671-1

FWIW I found software that claims to do what I want for $60 on sharware.

Go for the $60, watch the FCC rules, and let me know if the $60 software doesn't work for ya.
