now we're talking...

these are my favourite regular heavy beers

6.6%

6.5%

8.4%

8.2%

9%

these puppies will sort you out bigstyle

obviously there's dozen's more heavy and abbey beers in Belgium
but Leffe is one of the more accessible ranges.. bigger production then say Westmalle 12 , which is pretty much unoptainable unless you actually drive to the abbey and wait in line... or even Grimbergen...

With a slice of orange, a lighter side wheat beer that is oh so good - made in Michigan.

It's similar to "Blue Moon" another favorite.

Wow, really? Isn't that one of the beers that came out in the late 80's early 90's made by one of the big US companies? I think there was "Bud Ice" and then Miller "Icehouse".

a slice of orange, kach? now that is something i've never tried. do you just use the rind or keep the fruit on, as with lime in a corona?

A big slice of fresh orange, I even squeeze it in and eat it when I'm done. I have to eat something when I drink.

She hasn't aged well at all ...actually, IIRC she wasn't worth a damn way back when either Plank Road Brewery is just a marketing ploy for Miller....

Guys, guys, listen up! Every damn beer in the world comes with it's own pork chop at the bottom! Or in the case of wheat beers, it's own loaf of bread!

BTW, we're not all stranded in the middle of nowhere and need to add citrus to our diet to prevent scurvy!!

If you feel a beer has to have friut/salt/whatever added, please move over to the wine coolers and frozen drinks and be done with it.
