10 zillion cReDiT card offers in your freaking mail? How to STOP them.
 

I get perhaps 3-4 CC offers PER DAY.
What a PITA; the personal data page must be torn up. Solution:

www.optoutprescreen.com

You have to inout your SS number, but it operated by the major credit bureaus. Saw this in Ye Olde Feb 2007 Consumer Reports.

I did that about a year ago.
We still get them Loads of them. Dozens per week.

Another solution is to call the opt out phone line.
It works well. I do this every couple of years.

Mail? I got in the habit of using the pre-paid envelope they so kindly sent. On their application form I would write in broad felt tip: "No thank you...please remove me from your mailing list". The mailings didn't stop completely, but the number certainly diminished. Return 1st class postage is expensive to these guys.
