How is the 16 year old workin out with Pops...

I think U shoulda have takin the straight ahead approach with the old man, instead of using sleight of hand to get the results U wanted. I got nothin against sleight of hand if it gets the results U need with no harm nor foul. But when I put my 2 cents in I wish I knew that was an option, it mighta changed my opinion.

Thanks for asking, Tabs. My son and my dad have been spending more time together. My son thinks his grandfather is pretty cool for an old man and grandpa has decided that "greatness" must skip generations. ;)

My dad hates winter and the cold. The real test of him asking for help will be in the spring, when dad typically charges into huge projects.

My ol man is gonna visit for our Boys 8th at the end of Feb. His last visit was great - he idealizes him. The two got into a tug-of-war with my bathrobe belt. I had that robe for 25 years! They snapped that belt like it was overdone pasta, ended with both laughing endlessly at my robes expense. So I have a couple of boys - 7 & 83!

That's great. I hope to live long enough and well enough that my sons write about me wrestling with my grandkids, saying that they have kids aged 7 and 83. Heck, I hope they're still complaining about their kids when they're 17 and 93.
