Seahawks/Bears
I'm fairly concerned the Seahawls may get beaten this Sunday....
Tell me, have the Bears indeed changed since they last met? (and the Seahawks got creamed) I hear the defense has weakened.... |
The Seahawks should have clobbered the Cowboys. Instead, they got lucky. It just depends on which Seahawks team takes the field.
|
Seahawks will win this one.

Anyone have insight to the Bears team and how they've played lately?
The media ain't worth ***** for this type of information. |

Bears 28, Seahawks 13 would be my guess. Alexander is just not the player he was last year, and putting the ball in the air again and again against that bears defense is just asking for trouble. I wish the Eagles were going to Chicago and the Seahawks were going to NO to be honest. I think the team that comes out of the NO game when the smoke clears will be the NFC representative in the Superbowl. The bears have a great defense and a good running game, but their QB is REALLY, REALLY struggling to make plays. If they got good QB play they'd be prohibitive favorites over the entire NFC field, that's how good the rest of the team is IMO. |

The 'Squaks are simply not that good of a team this year. Blame it on injuries or inconsistent performance but there is no way they can play with NE/NO/SD/Indy. Better to lose now and get it over with.

The consensus at work (and we have our share of Seattle fans around here) is that Seattle will lose. Not because Chicago is the better team, but because Seattle will make bigger mistakes.

.....at least Rouen can hold a ball for a Josh Brown kick

snipe, how 'bout them Iggles? :)

Yeah, that was a good 'un yesterday, definitely very exciting!
Not sure how well next week is gonna go though. Losing all-pro CB Lito Sheppard to a dislocated elbow as a seriously bad stroke of luck. Usually i just outright pick the team with the better defense in any given playoff game, so from that perspective you have to like the Eagles chances, as the Saints really do have a pretty weak D. It's for that same reason that i think the Ravens will win it all. They have a D of the same caliber as Chicago, but with a much better offense. My non-homer Superbowl prediction is Ravens 27, Saints 7. I would LOVE for the Eagles and Hawks to win though, as that would set up yet another Eagles home NFC conference title game(the 4th in the last 6 years). :) If the Eagles and Seahawks have an advantage, it's the playoff inexperience of both the Saints and the Bears. That really is a significant edge, but we'll see how it plays out... BTW: I just heard on the radio that if the Eagles win this week Lito Sheppard may be back for the NFC championship game. Gotta give these guys credit, as most of them are warriors in the truest sense of the word. |
12 years since the Bears were in the playoffs....

Seriously, the Bears are awful. They got big heads from beating up on pathetic teams and that ego carried them a good ways(power of positive thinking and all), but they suck*.....and now they know they suck......
But, The Hawks are not playing anywhere near their potential. *Suckitude quotient attributed mainly to the offense. |

McNabb ate Da Bears alive in that game. :) Edit: Yup, it was in 2001. Just looked it up, the final was 33-19 Eagles. The Bears also had homefield throughout that year, and were 13-3. The Eagles were 11-5 that year, and had just won their first of six(and counting) division titles under Andy Reid. If the Eagles get past the Saints IMO they'll dismantle that Bears team. |
Seahawks will clobber the Bears. 35-10.
|
Bears are gonna win.
