I would have thought there would be at least one US Airways pilot lurking on the forum!

Would be nice to know, when I'm flying, that the pilot or crew is a pelicanite!

When US Air and Am West merged it really mixed things up (in more ways that one) and its hard to tell now.
You flying on them shortly? Joe

I have always had good experiences with USAirways.
Maybe I have been just lucky. I remember once I needed to fly to Portugal from Charlotte. It was via Newark. Newak got hit by a storm and I missed the Newark-Porto connection. Well the USAir desk booked me onto a Charlotte-Frankfirt and Frankfurt-madrid and Madrid-Porto knowing I would miss the last flight. Well once in Madrid they booked me on a Madrid-Santiago flight just to get me closer to my destination. I did not pay a penny in all this and it was not USAir fault that they closed Newark. Also their planes have more legroom (I frequently fly to London direct from Charlotte and I am 6'3" so I value the space) and are usually more modern. I don't know... again maybe I just got lucky... and just jinxed myself (we are flying to St Marteens tomorrow.... ) |

Matteo,
I've had good luck with them too for the most part. Got stranded a couple of times, but you can't control weather!
